Margaret Ville is situated along Margaret Drive in Singapore’s up-and-coming Queenstown district. The 40-storey tower consists of 309 apartment units which sit on top of columns that rise 14 metres from the ground, providing privacy and impressive views towards the surrounding greenery of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Tanglin and Dempsey Hill.
The tower’s architecture is a series of two interlocked boxes with fenestrations, ledges and balconies. A rhythmic series of champagne gold horizontal fins that alternate along the tower’s elevations provide a subtle sheen to the tower’s sleek silhouette.
The landscape deck is a counterpoint to the hard-edged verticality of the tower. It features clean rectilinear lines, neat hedges, and a plant palette that makes use of various textures and shades, seamlessly connecting the compact site with the adjacent greenery, while concealing car parks and services below. The 1st storey environmental deck includes a lap pool, children’s pool, spa pool/ hydrotherapy pool, various sitting lounges, cabanas, and a dining pavilion adjacent to the Clubhouse which houses the Function Room and a Gym.
At the main drop-off, deep canopies and horizontal expressions provide sheltered drop-off for residents and guests, reflecting the same architectural expression as with the tower.
